Wang Chao is a Senior Engineer, Registered Consulting Engineer, and CFA Charterholder with extensive expertise in overseas construction, investment, and financing. With over a decade of industry experience, he has led multiple international investment projects at China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC), including industrial park development, real estate, and cross-border M&A. Soon Yen is Partner of International Tax and Transaction Services based in Shanghai. He joined EYCAL in year 2008.
Prior to joining EYCAL, Soon Yen spent over seven years working on tax compliance and consultancy engagements in Malaysia. His experience includes tax advisory for complex business transactions, tax controversy and dispute resolution to assist companies undergoing tax examination by tax authorities and tax planning to improve the overall group tax efficiency.
Soon Yen has been assisting clients on a wide range of tax matters including China inbound and outbound investment planning, cross-border operating model effectiveness, tax efficient holding structure and financing structure, and group restructuring project.

Dr. Jie Hu is a Professor of Practice at the Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance (SAIF) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Professor Hu has a diverse background in academia, finance, and technology. He formerly worked at the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta as a senior financial economist, responsible for research on finance and economics, as well as analysis and recommendations for monetary policy. After his time at the Federal Reserve, Professor Hu held various leadership positions in the financial industry, including VP for Fixed Income Research at Bankers Trust (Hong Kong), Senior VP for Greater China at BankBoston, and VP of Finance and Business Development at Precom, Inc. Since returning to China, Professor Hu has founded several startups, one of which was acquired by UFIDA, the largest business software company in Asia. In 2016-2017, he served as the CEO of the financial business branch of Xunlei, Inc., a company listed on NASDAQ. Professor Hu's research interests lie in the areas of FinTech, blockchain, wealth management, and financial institutions and markets. He is actively involved in various academic and
applied research projects and serves as the chief editor for the magazine "Practice of Wealth
Management in China" by the China Academy of Finance Research (CAFR) of SJTU. Professor Hu received a Ph.D. in Finance from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management and an M.S. in Physics from the University of Chicago.

Mr. Huang joined the Shanghai Foreign Investment Commission in 1996. From 2002 to 2010, he served as Deputy Director of Shanghai Foreign Economic and Trade Commission, and Director of the Foreign Investment Administration Department of the Shanghai Commission of Commerce. From June 2010 to July 2011, he served as Deputy Director of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce. From August 2011 to March 2016, he was Deputy Director General of the Department of Foreign Investment Administration, Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) of the People's Republic of China.
In May 2019, Mr. Huang was elected Chairman of Shanghai Foreign Investment Association (SHFIA), becoming the sixth chairman since the association's establishment. He also serves as Council Member of the Shanghai People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.
