MayCham China in Shanghai is delighted to continue organizing this year's 69th Merdeka Gala Dinner. This highly anticipated gala dinner will be held on 29th August 2026 (Saturday) at Qiantan Shangri-La Hotel, Shanghai.
每年备受期待的马来西亚国庆晚宴又要和大家见面了。我们很高兴地宣布：中国马来西亚商会上海办事处将于2026年8月29日（周六）在上海前滩香格里拉大酒店举办马来西亚独立69周年国庆晚宴。
The Merdeka Gala Dinner is an important highlight on most Malaysians' calendar here in Shanghai and in addition to the 69th Merdeka celebrations, we will also be celebrating Visit Malaysia 2026 highlighting on the diverse culture and traditions of Malaysia. This will be ideal not just for Malaysians but for our Chinese friends as well as foreign friends to indulge and experience Malaysian culture and delights.
马来西亚独立国庆晚宴是在沪马来西亚人士心目中的年度重磅活动。本次盛会除庆祝马来西亚独立69周年外，还将结合2026马来西亚旅游年主题，集中展现马来西亚多姿多彩的风土民俗与人文底蕴。无论马来西亚本土同胞、中方友人还是各国来宾，都能在此沉浸式感受马来西亚独特的文化魅力与别样风情。
In addition to the representatives from the Consulate General of Malaysia in Shanghai and the relevant agencies, there will be guests from different professions and industries attending, including leaders of various local and international chambers of commerce as well as local government representatives. We sincerely invite you, together with your family and friends, to join us at the Merdeka Gala Dinner as it will be our honor to have your presence gracing this occasion. It will also be our first time organizing the Merdeka Gala Dinner in a new hotel. Therefore we look forward to creating a new experience and making new memories with you.
