Manufacturing remains at the heart of the global economy, with Chinese manufacturing leading the way. Going overseas has gone through four stages: products, capital, production capacity and global synergy. More and more enterprises are making greenfield investments and carrying out localised operations in Southeast Asia and Europe. Global talent planning, cross-cultural management and the ability to adapt to local conditions have become the key to success. At the same time, the acceleration of intelligent and green up-grades has highlighted the contradiction between the supply and demand for technical talent. Al and electrical engineers, among others, are in short supply worldwide. ESG and compliance have become a new requirement, with green talent embedded through out the supply chain. Recruitment is difficult in traditional power-houses, and cultural and institutional barriers hinder the recruitment of talent. How can the manufacturing industry use data and Al to drive the implementation of a global talent strategy, help enterprises formulate accurate overseas strategies, and realise the deep integration of intelligent manufacturing?
