The 3rd Malaysia Food & Culture Festival

Supported by the Consulate General of Malaysia in Shanghai, the annual Malaysia Food and Culture Festival is back in Shanghai again in May. MayCham China · Shanghai Office is committed to co-organising the 3rd Malaysia Food and Culture Festival in conjunction with the Consulate General of Malaysia (Tourism Section) on 25th-26th May 2024 at Qiantan TAIKOO LI, Shanghai.

The theme of this year's festival is "Malay Heritage". During the two-day event, we will introduce you to the history, culture and modern life of Malaysia, beautiful islands, dynamic cities, and the inheritance of traditional culture.

This year's Malaysian Food and Culture Festival is open to the public for free. In particular, In order to enable visitors to enjoy authentic Malaysian cuisine, Shangri-La Hotel Qiantan, Shanghai will launch a Malaysian Authentic cuisine buffet lunch and dinner from 24th to 31st May. Their General Manager has personally invited two Executive chefs of Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to Shanghai, so that everyone can experience authentic Malaysian cuisine without having to fly abroad. During the two-day Food & Culture Festival, MayCham China members and friends can also enjoy a special customized discount buffet, please come and join us and sign up now!

In addition to enjoying the Malaysian local delights, you can also visit the Malaysia food and cultural bazaar. We have invited Chek Hup Ipoh White Coffee, A1 Bak Kut Teh, Munchy, Nanya Nyonya Food, Starcity Global (MM2H), Hernan Musang King Durian, Sarawak Coconut Wine, Tina's Choice, XiaoYanZu Malaysian Bird's Nest, Doku Biotechnology, Secret Flavor Catering, Si Mao International, Triple-C International, V-nion Southeast Asian pastry, handmade crafts and many other well-known Malaysian brands to participate.

In addition, we also invited some special guests: members of the Royal Malaysian Dance Company as well as Malaysia's champion chef's fancy "Teh Tarik" performance and Malaysian students' traditional bamboo dance performance. There are also interactive booths and activities featuring hand-painted by Henna and Southeast Asian childhood games. Meanwhile, there are star chefs cooking Malaysian food on the central stage to showcase cooking and traditional food stories, Tourism Malaysia introduces the charm of tourist attractions, as well as live broadcasting from the scene.

第三届马来西亚美食文化节

在春风和熙的5月，一年一度马来西亚美食与文化节又落户上海了！！！此次活动得到了马来西亚驻沪总领事馆的大力支持。由马来西亚驻沪领事馆文化旅游局和中国马来西亚商会上海办事处携手，将于2024年5月25日-26日在上海前滩太古里举办"第三届马来西亚美食文化节"。

今年美食文化节的主题为"马来文化传承" ，在为期两天的活动中，我们将带您走进马来西亚的历史文化与现代生活，美丽的岛屿，动感的都市，以及传统文化的传承。

此次马来西亚美食文化节活动面向公众免费参与。值得一提的是：为了让市民游客能品尝到正宗的马来西亚美食，上海前滩香格里拉酒店会在5月24日至5月31日推出马来西亚地道美食自助午餐与晚餐，前滩香格里拉总经理亲自邀请了两位马来西亚吉隆坡香格里拉酒店行政总厨来上海，让大家不必飞出国门就能体验到正宗的马来西亚美食。美食文化节期间，我们的会员和朋友们还可以享受到特别定制的优惠自助餐价格，欢迎大家踊跃报名参与！

除了能够品尝到马来大餐之外，您也可以逛逛马来西亚美食与文化集市。今年集市邀请了泽合怡保白咖啡，A1肉骨茶， 马奇新新，南亚娘惹食品，星汇国际（第二家园）， 和南猫山王榴莲，砂捞越椰花酒， 天呐食，小嬿祖马来西亚燕窝， Doku Biotechnology，秘之味餐饮，斯茂国际，南天家园，V-nion东南亚糕点， 少数民手编工艺等众多马来西亚知名品牌参与。

另外，我们还邀请了特别助阵嘉宾：由马来亚西旅游局从马来亚西特邀马来西亚皇家舞蹈团成员远道而来的表演，以及马来西亚拉茶冠军主厨的花式拉茶表演以及马来西亚学生的传统竹竿舞表演等。集市现场还有海娜手绘，东南亚童年游戏互动展位与活动。此外，在中央舞台上还有星级大厨烹饪马来西亚美食展示厨艺与传统美食故事，马来西亚旅游介绍魅力旅游景点，以及直播平台也在现场实况报道。
