This year, MayCham China in Shanghai will once again organize the 67th Malaysia Merdeka Gala Dinner. The celebration is anticipated to be a significant milestone as it coincides with the 50th anniversary of Malaysia-China diplomatic relations. We are delighted to announce that the celebration will take place on the actual date of Malaysia's independence, 31st August 2024 (Saturday), at Pudong Shangri-La Hotel, Shanghai.
The Malaysia Merdeka Gala Dinner is a major highlight in the Malaysian community's calendar. As China economy recovers, we believe the double happiness celebrations (commemorating Merdeka and the 50th anniversary of Malaysia-China diplomatic relations) will be a resounding success with your participation and support.
The dinner will be well attended by hundreds of guests and there will be exciting performances and lots of goodies and lucky draw prizes waiting for everyone. As per previous years, we hope everyone will have a memorable evening.
