Malaysian Food & Culture Festival - Makan Makan @ The BREW of Shanghai Pudong Kerry Hotel on 19th & 20th November
MayCham China in Shanghai together with the Malaysian government agencies, MIDA, MATRADE and Tourism Malaysia will be jointly organizing a Malaysian Food & Culture Festival from 19th November 2022 to 20th November 2022 at Kerry Hotel Pudong, Shanghai. The Festival is also supported by the Consulate General of Malaysia in Shanghai.
As part of the Festival, there will be stalls/booths showcasing Malaysian food and culture, live streaming, games and activities open to the general public. The stalls will be open on 19th November and 20th November from 10:00 in the morning till 17:00 in the evening.
In conjunction with the Festival, there will be a Makan-Makan Malaysian Buffet lunch at The Brew, Kerry Hotel, where pre-registration and purchase of ticket(s) is required. There will be a big variety of sumptuous Malaysian food and beverages specially prepared by Chef Otto of Kerry Hotel.
The program of the Festival is as follows:
Day 1 - Saturday (19th November)
10:00 – Opening of Festival
11:00 – Opening Ceremony, Performances & Games Interaction
11:30 – Malaysian Food Buffet Lunch @ The Brew (requires pre-registration and purchase of tickets)
13:00 – Townhall Session with Ambassador (open to attendees of the Buffet lunch only)
14:30 – Performances, Games Interaction, Cooking Demo
17:00 – End of Festival
Day 2 - Sunday (20th November)
10:00 – Opening of Festival
11:00 – Performances and Cooking Demo
11:30 – Malaysian Food Buffet Lunch @ The Brew (requires pre-registration and purchase of tickets)
14:30 – Performances, Games interaction, Cooking Demo
17:00 – End of Festival

We would like to invite our members and friends to join us for a Malaysian buffet-style lunch at The BREW of Shanghai Pudong Kerry Hotel. The lunch will be available both on Saturday, 19th November (open to MayCham Members & Malaysians) and Sunday 20th November (open to all). Please note that there will be a Townhall Q&A session with the Ambassador of Malaysia to China, after lunch at 13:00 on Saturday, 19th November.
